You know breakfast is the most important meal of the day and you cannot leave home without it.

There are sooooo many variations to this: I like to do it with soya or almond milk, banana, blueberries, strawberries, protein powder, and then sprinkle seeds and nuts on top, but you can add any other fruit you like.

2. Toasts

Again, there are soooo many variations you can do, and here are some ideas:

  • Peanut butter and banana
  • Boiled eggs and tomato
  • Cream cheese and cucumber

  • Salmon and goats cheese
  • Butter, jam and cheese
  • Scrambled eggs and honey

This is a seriously yummy recipe full of protein.

Just blend the eggs and add the spinach, cheese, tomato and bacon (you can leave the bacon out if you don’t eat meat or prefer it with less fat) and add a bit of seasoning (salt and pepper).

Then bake the eggs in muffin cups to create these delicious delights.

4. Pancakes

Pancakes are always a tasty and healthy option for breakfast, especially if you have kids.

You can eat them with just lemon juice, Nutella, or banana slices, or add many other types of fruits and ingredients.

5. Overnight Oats

 

Extra thick or soupy, overnight oats are a great option for a healthy breakfast.

With overnight oats, all the prep work is done the night before, which means that you’ll wake up next morning with a tasty healthy breakfast ready to eat.

You can do a lot of variations to the milk you use and you can use different types of fruits and nuts, but the process is this one:

  • Add oats to the bottom of a mason jar with a pinch of salt
  • Add your favourite yogurt on top
  • Add the fruits of your choice: strawberries, bananas, raspberries, etc
  • Then cover with your milk of choice: almond, coconut or cashew
  • Put the lid on the container, shake everything together and let it sit overnight in the fridge
